Top courts are freshened up
Project finished…the courts are now back in action after the completion of the work

OUR SHOW courts, No 1, No 2 and No 3, have now been revamped to improve the playing surface.
The rejuvenation work on the artificial grass courts started last Monday (February 29) and was finished by Friday (March 4).
In recent months the three courts had started to retain water during periods of heavy rain and this work will ensure that drainage is vastly improved.
The courts now look pristine and good as new – just in time for a busy Easter programme of coaching camps, tournament play and the upcoming spring/summer doubles league.
Several skip-fulls of grey, sludge-like sand were removed from the courts by the project team, from Lincolnshire company, Replay Maintenance before fresh golden sand was put in its place.
The project was similar to the successful work carried out on the No 6, 7 and 8 courts last autumn.
