Final home Aegon match of the season this Sunday (June 4th)

Our men’s Aegon 1st team – currently flying high in the National Midlands league table in third place – are hosting their final home game of the season this weekend.

The Brooke lads (4-1) are entertaining Grantham (1-4) this Sunday (June 4th) and we are hoping as many supporters as possible are able to pop along to cheer on the side.

Carisbrooke are on a four-game win streak in the Aegon league and remain unbeaten in the Leicestershire domestic league so far this season and although Grantham are residing in the relegation places, they are coming off the back of their first win of the campaign after beating Penns TC 10-2 in the last round of matches.

The top three teams in the division advance to the next stage in the national competition so a win here would be a great boost to Carisbrooke’s chances.

If the weather is fine, fans can bring along their munch for a barbecue and the bar will be open as ever.

The action gets under way at midday.

Meanwhile, our men’s Aegon 2nd team are also in action on the same day at Kenwood Road when they face Loughborough University B (1-2) in the Aegon Team Tennis Leicestershire Division One.

The Brooke are 2-1 on the season with two games remaining – both against Loughborough University, who have an A and B team in the division. The Brooke are in third place in the table with consolidation the aim this term. Their match starts at 10am.
